Compliance
and Financial Monitoring
AmeriNational has over fifteen years experience working with the
reporting and compliance requirements of Low Income Tax Credit projects,
HOME funding, HUD and USDA programs, Tax Exempt Bond projects, and
a multitude of state level programs. Our staff members have extensive
expertise and training in auditing and in the regulations that our
clients operate under. Our Certified Housing Credit Compliance Professionals
(HCCP) bring a level of expertise that our clients rely on in maintaining
properties in accordance with regulations. These individuals are
trained and ready to assist in eliminating costly errors that jeopardize
the success of the properties and programs being administered.
AmeriNational strives to maintain excellent communication with
our clients. Prior to conducting an on-site project review, a comprehensive
auditing plan is prepared and reviewed with the client. The on-site
review is followed up with an immediate status report to the client.
A comprehensive detailed report is then prepared that will provide
the client an accounting for all steps taken and the results of
each.
Our services are designed specifically to meet our client’s
objectives and goals, and can be tailored for any complexity of
rules and regulations in place. We have proven reporting and tracking
systems that are used, but can also customize the reports to meet
a client preferred format.
Another service available to clients is financial monitoring of
loans. All reports will be submitted electronically or manually,
as directed by the Agency. AmeriNational will obtain development’s
mid-year operating results in a form approved by the Agency. Amerinational
will then obtain development’s annual financial statements
when due and provide a detailed analysis Finally, AmeriNational
will obtain from a rating agency or other source the long-term debt
ratings for the credit enhancer of development, if applicable. AmeriNational
will report any negative or downgraded rating to the Agency, along
with the submission of the financial statement analysis.
